Our Community Guidelines serve as a code of conduct for the app and help support a safe Melon experience that people know and enjoy. All users of Melon shall abide by this Community Guidelines and Melon‘s Terms of Service at anytime and anywhere.
1. Special Reminder
1.The Melon Services provided to you is subject to the Melon‘s Terms of Service and any other policies or guidelines posted by Melon at any time. Melon will promptly notify you in case there have any changes regarding to this Community Guidelines, and the updated Community Guidelines will take effect right after it has been posted online and the earlier version will then be replaced.
2.You understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for any content you submit or contribute through streaming, posting, uploading, publishing, transmitting or otherwise making available on the Melon Services, and you have full responsibility for such content, including its legality, reliability, accuracy and appropriateness.
3.You understand and acknowledge Melon has the right to terminate or suspend your access or change the services we provide along with the changes of our operation plan.
4.You covenant that you will not directly or indirectly violate this Community Guidelines, and the applicable laws, regulations and public orders that apply to you, including but not limiting to the laws or regulations or public orders of the region where Melon is operated, the region you streamed, posted, uploaded, published, transmitted or otherwise made available your content on the Melon Services.
2. Prohibited Content
Melon is a fantastic video chat app, to improve all user’s experience, you understand all your behaviors shall strictly follow to the applicable laws and regulations, and the below behaviors are strictly prohibited:
1.It is strictly prohibited to propagate violence and crime, such as:
(1)any material that would constitute, encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offence, dangerous activities or self-harm;
(2)any material that contains a threat of any kind, including threats of physical violence, provoke or antagonise people, especially trolling and bullying, or is intended to harass, harm, hurt, scare, distress, embarrass or upset people;
(3)any material that would promote terrorism and extremism, incite the implementation of terrorist and extremist activities;
(4)any material which is defamatory of any person, obscene, offensive, pornographic, hateful or inflammatory;
(5)any material that describe, endorse or promote the following acts of violence by yourself or associates: physical harm to animals, vandalism or destruction of property, the poaching or sale of endangered species or their limb.
2.It is strictly prohibited to publish the content of controlled item:
(1)Describe the transactions of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and other drugs, injecting or making processes;
(2)Attempt to provide, sell, send, or exchange the contents of firearms, firearm parts, ammunition or explosives between individuals;
(3)Coordinating or supporting poaching or poaching of endangered species and their body parts;
(4)Other contraband as defined by local regulations.
3.It is strictly prohibited to violate the legitimate rights and interests of others and disturb the order of the platform, such as:
(1)To upload, transmit, distribute, store or otherwise make available in any way: files that contain viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
(2)To upload any private information of any third party, including addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, number and feature in the personal identity document (e.g., National Insurance numbers, passport numbers) or credit card numbers without prior consent;
(3)Use text, voice, pictures and other forms to promote other platforms of the same type;
(4)To upload any material which does or may infringe any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property or privacy rights of any other person;
4.It is strictly prohibited to perform sexually explicit content in any form with pornography or causes sexual desire of others, such as:
(1)Showing or obscurely showing sensitive body parts with sexual characteristics in various ways.
(2)the dissemination of any information that contains content of sexual conduct, sexual advances or sexual insults.
5.Any material that is racist or discriminatory, including discrimination on the basis of someone’s race, religion, age, gender, disability or sexuality are strictly prohibited.
6.It is strictly forbidden to impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent you or your affiliation with any person or entity, including giving the impression that any content you upload, post, transmit, distribute or otherwise make available emanates from the Services. Especially you are prohibited to impersonate Melon official staff in any way, including but not limited to:
(1)Impersonating as an official staff to disseminate false information;
(2)Impersonating as an official staff to deceive, insult, or threaten others.
7.It is strictly forbidden for users to upload content for any commercial or unauthorized purpose, such as:
(1)communicate or facilitate any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, solicitations, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other prohibited form of solicitation;
(2)promote unauthorized recharge links or selling diamond information for profit;
8.It is strictly forbidden for users to promote any content which contradicts the provisions of the applicable countries’ constitution, calls for violation of the law, violates the obligations of the code of professional ethics and violates public order and morals.
Melon official staff reviews the users’ content to avoid the violation of this Community Guidelines. Besides, we encourage our users to report any behaviors that is in the violation of this Community Guidelines. If Melon discovered such violation is exist, Melon will have rights to take down your content, suspend your account, and/or report it to the relevant authorities if it is required by the local law.
